Opena with Alice “asleep with the insects” And “softly the cuckoo is calling”.Well, it doesn’t wake Alice But Coo-Coo (her dog Coo-Coo) wakes up and gets into a fight with the landlady’s cat. Fight over, Alice gives treats to the dog but not the cat.
And Al K. Hall, proprietor if the Dew Drop Inn, finds out and tells the landlord;ady AND offers her money to kick Alice out. Done!
So Alice takes a job at the Inn. There are good gangs an bad gangs and more problems and Alice gets in trouble, and then she wakes up and it was all a dream. Not Recommended.
